ChciagoCloud utilizes a variety of datacenters located in the United States. Our primary datacenter is located in downtown Chicago next to the Board of Trade. 

Primary Datacenter

 

Our primary datacenter is located at 427 S LaSalle St in Chicago, Illinois.

This datacenter is known as Coresite CH1 and it is strategically located in downtown Chicago, next to the Board of Trade. This datacenter offers native cloud onramps to AWS, Azure and Google as well as access to the Open Cloud Exchange.

The quick network optimization to the cloud as well as the local Chicago market make this the perfect location for hosting your services and reaching your customers.

This datacenter is 178,000 square feet (16,500 square meters) and offers 24/7/365 security, field operations, remote hands and customer service.

The downtown location of the facility offers exceptional power resiliency due to multiple local substations and underground network configurations.

This datacenter offers peering exchanges through Any2Exchange, AMS-IX Chicago, United IX Chicago and DE-CIX with diverse POEs, MDFs and IDFs available. Fiber, copper and coaxial cross connects are available.

The security and access of this facility is controlled by key cards, biometric scanners, perimeter and interior IP cameras as well as 24/7/365 security personnel.

On-site, you will find:

  • N+1 redundant generators
  • 36 hours of fuel storage
  • N, N+1, 2N redundancy for UPS/PDU/RPP
  • N+1 redundancy for chilling plants, CRAHs and chilled water pumps
  • Exceptional low-latency
